First Software Systems

A software company for businesses that can't afford mistakes

We build software that keeps your business in agreement with itself.

Payments, orders, inventory, customers and partners all live in different places. We design and build the systems that hold them together, so your numbers add up, your team stops chasing spreadsheets, and your customers see the same truth you do.

Clear scope

You know what you are getting, what it costs and when it lands

One team

The people on the first call are the people who build it

You own it

Code, accounts and documentation are yours from day one

After launch

We stay on to support, fix and improve — launch is not goodbye

04 — How we work

Five stages, and you always know which one you are in.

01

Discover

We learn how the business actually runs and where time and money are being lost.

02

Plan

We agree what will be built, what it costs and when each part arrives.

03

Build

You see working software every week, not a progress bar.

04

Launch

We move you across carefully, with training and a way back if needed.

05

Support

We stay available for fixes, questions and the next round of improvements.

HOW WE ENGAGE

Project

A defined system with a fixed scope, agreed milestones and a delivery date. Best when you know what you need built.

HOW WE ENGAGE

Retainer

Ongoing capacity each month for products that keep changing — improvements, integrations and support in one agreement.

WHERE WE WORK

Remote, worldwide

We work with clients across time zones. Overlap hours, meeting rhythm and reporting are agreed before the project starts.

06 — FAQ

Questions we get asked before a project starts.

It depends on scope, and we give you a fixed price before you commit. After a first conversation we can usually give a realistic range within a few days, and we will tell you honestly if your budget does not match what you are describing.

Most projects deliver something usable within the first few weeks and complete within a few months. Timelines are agreed in the planning stage and we tell you early if anything threatens them.

Yes. The code, the accounts and the documentation are yours from the first day, not handed over at the end. You are never locked in to us.

Usually. We take over, extend and stabilise systems built by other teams, and we integrate with software you already rely on rather than insisting on replacing it.

Yes. We work alongside in-house developers and operations teams, and we are happy to hand knowledge over as we go so your people can maintain what we build.

Changes are normal. We price them as they come up so you can decide, rather than discovering the cost at the end of the project.

We offer a support agreement with an agreed response time, monitoring, and regular improvements. If you would rather manage it internally, we hand over documentation and train your team.

Send a short description of the problem. We reply within two working days, arrange a call if it looks like a fit, and there is no cost or obligation until you approve a scope and price.

Tell us what is going wrong. We will tell you how we would fix it.

No sales script. Describe the problem and you will get a straight answer on scope, approach and cost within two working days.
