First Software Systems is a software company. We work with businesses whose operations have outgrown spreadsheets, shared inboxes and software that was never designed for how they actually work.
Most of what we build sits behind the scenes: the system that decides whether a payment was received, whether an order really shipped, who is allowed to see what, and what the business is owed at the end of the month. When that layer is right, everything in front of it feels effortless. When it is wrong, no amount of design saves it.
We take on a small number of clients at a time, we say no to work we are not right for, and we would rather tell you a project is simpler than you thought than sell you something larger.

We start with your business
Before anything is designed we sit with the people who do the work daily and learn where time and money are actually being lost. The software follows from that, not the other way round.
We explain everything in plain language
You should never need a technical translator to understand what you are paying for, what stage it is at, or what a decision will cost you later.
We build things meant to last
Systems are documented, handed over properly and built so another team could pick them up. We want to keep your business because the work is good, not because you are stuck.
